DRAWING/ Mrs. Waldron
Everyone enters this class with a different level of drawing skills – my goal is to get you to improve your drawing skills from the level that you are currently at.
In this class you will work with a variety of media, several types of drawing techniques, and you will draw a variety of subject matter. Learning to look and observe more accurately is one of the keys in learning to draw. Sometimes this keen sense of observation comes naturally but more often times, it must be learned.
Anyone can learn to draw! For some people it takes more time and more practice…and patience, than it does for others. The more you draw, the better you will get at it.
Sketchbook requirement:
- Each quarter you will be given a weekly sketchbook assignment list that is due
each Friday.
- Approximately 15-20 minutes should be spent on doing the sketchbook assignment. This assignment should be done outside of class time.
- If you miss a sketchbook assignment, simply turn in two assignments the following week. You will not be penalized for turning it in late, however, all assignments for the quarter are due by the end of the quarter.
- Sketchbooks should be at least 8”x10” in size. If this is a problem, please see me.
